The type II of the WG drum type coupling is the type without gland, suitable for wg1-wg14, with the advantage of low price.

When the WG drum type gear coupling is working, the relative angular displacement of the two axes is generated, and the tooth surfaces of the inner and outer teeth are subject to relative axial sliding periodically, which will inevitably lead to tooth surface wear and power consumption. Therefore, the gear type coupling should work in a good and sealed state. Gear coupling radial size is small, bearing capacity is large, often used in low speed and heavy load conditions of the shaft drive, high precision and dynamic balance of the gear coupling can be used for high speed drive, such as gas turbine shaft drive.
